Misty Nabors is the Data Management Coordinator for the Global Center for Aquatic Health and Food Security. In this role, she provides support to the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish. With over 15 years of experience in handling and analyzing data, management and implementation of systems and processes, Nabors assists with data collection and reporting efforts of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) component. She leverages her systems expertise to provide support in that domain as well.
Nabors is a Lecturer in Management and Information Systems at Mississippi State University. She also serves as the MSU Rodeo Team Advisor and Coach. Prior to her current position with the center, she was the Assistant Director in the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Mississippi State University where she handled many responsibilities dealing with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Nabors is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in business administration with a concentration in business information systems. She holds a Master of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance, a Bachelor of Accountancy in accounting, a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate and mortgage financing, and a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness with an economics minor all from Mississippi State University.
